What is Early Years Action Plus?

Leaflets

If there is some concern about the progress your child is making with support at Early Years Action, they may need help at Early Years Action Plus. This should be discussed with you. A decision should be made in partnership with you.

At Early Years Action Plus, the SENCO may ask for advice from other support services. A new Individual Education Plan should be written for your child, taking into account the advice of these other professionals. New targets should be set and your child's progress should continue to be monitored and reviewed. You should be included in any meetings or discussions held about your child. At a later review your child's achievements may no longer need the extra support of Early Years Action Plus and may move back to Early Years Action.

You should be kept fully informed about what is happening and your permission should be asked before any other professionals are involved or if any additional information is obtained from outside specialists.
