What if my child needs some extra help?

Going to School

It is important that they receive this help as soon as possible with your agreement.

All early years settings who receive Government funding should:

Follow the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Code of Practice and have a written SEN Policy.

Talk to you about any extra help that your child might need and involve you fully.

Have a member of staff appointed as the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator).
