What can the SENCO do to help?

The SENCO should:

Bullet Point
Take the lead in further assessment of your child's particular area of need.

With your agreement, plan future support for your child called Early Years Action or Early Years Action Plus.

Ensure that accurate records are kept of his/her progress.

Ensure they talk to you and other professionals involved with your child.

Advise and support others working in the early years setting about your child's needs.
