| What
if I cannot agree with my child's school or the LEA?
|
| If you
cannot reach an agreement with either your child's school or the
Local Education Authority (LEA), you may wish to use a disagreement
resolution service. This is also known as mediation. |
| What
can mediators do?
|
|
|
They can
talk to parents, and the LEA and school staff, to find out what
has been happening and what the problems are. |
|
|
They can arrange a meeting
between the parties to enable them to put their views to each other.
This meeting will happen away from home, the LEA's office or the
child's school, in a convenient place. |
