Many parents find having the support of a volunteer useful as they work with school to help their child. Our Independent
Parental Supporters will enable parents to understand reports, complete paperwork relating to their child’s education and go with them to meetings.
We signpost parent and carers
to services, voluntary or
Community, including the Parent
Support Adviser in their school cluster, who can also offer
support with other issues. |
If
you volunteer with us you will
have a mentor to support you
and have completed our FREE
accredited course.

about our next training
course look at our advert on

| Lisa Christensen visits Parent Partnership |
We were very pleased to
welcome Lisa to our Team Meeting in March. She was interested to know more about the service we provide to
parents and carers of children with special educational needs. We discussed the important work our volunteers do in supporting parents through the stresses of statementing and getting the help they need to fulfil their child’s educational potential. Lisa was very encouraging and said she would endeavour to provide the resources needed. |
