When your child first gets a statement of special educational needs from the Local Authority (LA) it can be a very stressful
time. Your child may have struggled at school for a while.

We have produced a new booklet “Reading and understanding your child’s statement.”

We are sending in our views on the Government Green Paper consultation which should become a White Paper in the summer of 2011.

This may effect you and your child and the services that are provided for their support and education.
